I am the daughter of a winegrower who passed on to me his great
respect for the earth.
However, I began my career in a very different profession - teaching
- in which I worked for a dozen years. After several trips abroad,
I decided on a course of studies in oenology at the School at Changins,
in canton Vaud. I then consolidated my knowledge in practice by
taking charge of a domain of five hectares at Saint Léonard,
the village where I was born in canton Valais. At the same time,
I acquired further experience working part-time in an oenological
laboratory.
After my return from a stay in the United States, and after the
birth of my third child, I decided to go into business on my own.
In 1992, I founded my domain and built my cellar on the high plateau
at Grimisuat, between Sion and Saint Léonard, in canton Valais.
