Our aims and our activities

In Switzerland, women are a rarity in the world of wine production.

This unusual fact provides motivation to the Artisanes of Vines and Wines to prove their solidarity and to give priority to emulating rather than to competing. The Artisanes benefit from the diversity of their experiences and broad their ideas about the many aspects of their profession. They share their different knowledge, but at the same time keep their individuality.

They are together, united, but each is different !

The Artisanes of Vines and Wines participate in various events and functions, for example Arvinis (Major wine exhibition in Switzerland), and they have been the subjects of several articles in the press and on television programmes.

Our aims are :

• To promote the image and the reputation of women in the world of winemaking, by offering quality wine
• To exchange information and advice
• To achieve a synergy effect in promoting their products from different cantons.
